Our good friends Julian and Aleks came over on the weekend with their young’uns. To make the most of our Saturday night they stayed overnight – no need to head home and pay the babysitter, no need to be sensible with the wine!
We took their sushi and seafood entree, added MLW’s famous lamb shanks and ate ourselves into a frenzy that was capped off with home made Tira Misu (thanks girls).
Breakfast was pancakes with Fruit, bacon and Maple syrup. Are you noticing a theme here?
And as an overlay to the culinary excess, there was a constant hum of kids playing…On saturday night it was dress-ups, then Sunday morning was all about hot wheels. It’s interesting to see the way the creative / collaborative process develops.
