It’s getting near to Christmas. How do I know?

Well, apart from my brilliant powers of deductive reasoning, the kids have made it absolutely clear by nagging us about setting up all the usual Christmas trappings – tree, baubles, lights, etc.

One regular feature of Christmas is the traditional “Ambry Family Picture in Front of the Tree”. The kids and Louise love it, I loathe it, mainly because the picture has always seemed such a cheesy snapshot. I love all the people in it, but not the final result.

So this year, I have pushed the boundaries a bit.
