A quick post this morning. I am a huge fan of Adobe Lightroom. While I use Photoshop as well, Lightroom is the hub from which I manage all my digital work-flow, from importing and key-wording my images, to most post processing and image output. When you first pick up a more advanced camera, it can feel exciting, cool and scary all at the same time. If it’s a DSLR, it will be big and black with buttons all over it. There are strange symbols that might as well by hieroglyphs…

In case you haven’t noticed, I have made some subtle changes to my website and blog. The blog format has been updated a little to make navigation easier (you’ll notice the navigation bar on the right is a better).
But more importantly, I have moved to a new domain – www.shaneambry.com. This will be the permanent home for my photographic exploits. Well, until the next time a day ends in “y” and I get a hare brained idea to change something…

I spent a relaxed afternoon at Olinda today with David and Leanne Bedford-Lee.
David and Leanne run a Bed and Breakfast called “Cambridge Cottages”, and to say the place is idyllic is an understatement.
