My sister-in-law and her children are staying with us at present. They travelled over from the UK and it’s always great to have them visit with us. Our kids get along really well with their cousins and miss them when they are not around.
It’s been an active few days, with a visit to the Healesville Sanctuary and a trip to the beach at Inverloch. I think by the end of the break we will be happy for some peace and quiet!
All the activity has provided me with lots of opportunity to capture some beautiful portraits of the children, so photographically it has been a productive time too. I’ve been able to try our my new 28mm f2.8 prime lens, and have discovered the joys of the diptych as a means of improving my portraits:

These are stunning images, Shane. I am glad you had a lovely time at the Sanctuary!

Thanks Judy!
I think all Melbournites grow up with visits to HS. It’s part of our psyche, and its always interesting to see how it changes for the better. Glad you liked the pics. Of course there are lots of animal shots but it’s the human element that I enjoy.
