A few weeks while ago, I spent the afternoon shooting the portraits for some friends. Aren’t they gorgeous?
We know Matt, Sue, Jasper and Ruby through our local school community. Jasper and Ruby have been in the same class as our kids since kindergarten, and so for a number of years now our paths cross back and forth around the activities of the children.
I was really delighted when Sue approached me as asked if I would capture them. The afternoon was a busy one, with some shooting in their home, then a trip to the local park. The kids handled it with great aplomb, and (as kids of this age always do) threw 110% into the activities.
So thanks to Sue and Matt for the opportunity to create some special memories, and thanks to Ruby and Jasper for making it fun fun fun!

Thanks Nick! These guys were great subjects, easy to get along with and up for pretty much anything. If I had asked them to put on “Carmen Miranda fruit hats” and swing from the ceiling upside down, they would have gone with it!
