Heading into last weekend, it was looking like I would have a free day last Sunday – no fixed plans.
We had previously arranged a fashion jewellery shoot for Bespoke Beads, but illness on the part of our models unfortunately threw those plans into disarray.
A few weeks while ago, I spent the afternoon shooting the portraits for some friends. Aren’t they gorgeous?
Over the past few weeks in Exposure 1, Exposure 2 and Exposure 3 I have written about the subject from a theoretical point of view, but how does all that translate to the real world when you are new to photography?
I figure it is worth a practical walkthrough that will help beginners get a handle on shooting with a DSLR, without relying upon the auto functions of their camera to save their bacon.
As I develop my range of photographic skills, it probably would not surprise you that those whom I love will periodically touch me for some free photography services. The images here are a good example.
